The member of parliament for Asutifi North, Hon. Patrick Bannor in collaboration with the Education Directorate in the district is organizing a maiden teacher's ward in the district.
This idea came about when the Honorable member of parliament heard the outcome of the 2020 BECE results in the district. Its a way he is using to motivate teaching and non teaching staff in the constituency.
The member of parliament, Hon. Patrick Bannor when interviewed by classicnewsgh.com stated that, this initiative is to improve the academic standard of education by motivating teachers.
He further on Stressed that the initiative is very keen to the Akufo-Addo government which will help improve Standard of education in the country.
Meanwhile, the District Director of Ghana Education Service, Naomi Asantewaa (Ms) who was appointed to the district less than a year is very pleased with the initiative of the MP due to the numerous challenges she is facing .
