Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) have official released an urgent directive on retired and deceased GES staff on One Teacher One Laptop distribution.
In a statement signed by Adwoa Oduro-Konadu (Mrs), Director of Administration, said, the distribution of TM1 laptops under the One Teacher, One Laptop Project continues this month (November, 2022).
In view of this, all retired staff whose payslip shows that they were deducted for the laptop from November 2021 should be given their laptops.
Again, relatives of deceased staff who have also been deducted for the laptop should be contacted and permitted to receive the laptop following proper verification of documents.
Management of Ghana Education Service is by this directive requesting Regional Directors of Education to officially inform, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Directors of Education within their respective regions about the exercise to ensure that distribution is done smoothly and accordingly.
