BASELINE SURVEY FOR GES WORKFORCE INITIATIVE PROGRAM FOR ALL TEACHERS
Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has release official baseline survey dubbed Ghana Education Service Workforce Initiative (GESWI) programme for all teachers within the teaching fraternity.
According to the release signed by the Acting Director-General, Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah (MS) the programme engaged PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to develop a revised education workforce design which will be used to develop a strategic approach and practical tools for education workforce planning and development to manage Ghana's education workforce.
In view of this, the baseline survey is being conducted to help gather information from teachers which will help re-design the new organisational structure to improve the workforce with focused execution of roles and continuous monitoring and evaluation.
