The 2021/2022 academic year for all Basic Schools in Ghana kick-started in January this year.
The 1st Term commenced on the 18th day of January 2022 and spun for 12 weeks which ended on the 14th of April 2022.
The vacation for 1st term started on 15th April, 2022 through to 9th May 2022.
The 2nd term started on 10th May, 2022 and ended on 18th August, 2022 which means that the 2nd Term lasted for 14 weeks.
The vacation for second term started on 19th August, 2022 through to 12th September, 2022.
The final term, the 3rd Term commenced on 13th September and will end on Thursday, 15th December 2022.
According to the provisional academic calendar from Ghana Education Service (GES), Basic Schools will reopen on 9th January, 2023.
