Management of the Ghana Education Service GES, has in a release, opened the 2023 BECE Schools verification and confirmation portal for students whose results and placement are yet to be released on January 19, 2023.
The Verification of school choices is to help the graduates and their parents confirm if the schools they selected are the once captured in the database of the Ghana Education Service and its stakeholders. The schools captured for a candidate in the database will be the ones from which the candidate will be placed.
According to the GES, parents and or guardians will receive SMS messages from the CSSPS, which contains the web portal https://csspsverify.com and USSD short code number *899*88# with a four-digit token number. These details will have to be used by the recipient to access their data in the database of the GES regarding the school choices captured for them.
Graduates and parents are to note that the verification of school choices is not meant for changing schools.
Students who may have errors in their initial selection should call 0556541525 or click on edit button available on the web portal after their selection details displayed with copy of the original selection form.
Students/Parents or teachers can also send an email with the copy of the original selection form to cssps2021@gmail.com.
The exercise which commenced in the late hours of yesterday January 14, 2023, is said to end on January 22, 2023
