Some IPPD Coordinators in some Districts/Metro/Municipals and regions in collaboration with some biometric officials have being Exposed for Extorting Monies from Newly Posted Teachers at their biometric centres before being taken through the exercise.
Reports gathered by classicnewgh indicates that some Integrated Personnel and Payrol Database (IPPD) Coordinators in the Ghana Education Service are demanding between Ghc50.00 and Ghc100.00 from the newly posted teachers who have worked for Seven (7) months without salary.
Among the Districts/Metros/Municipal and regions are Atwima Kwawoma District in Ashanti Region, Daboase District in Western Region, Wassa Amenfi West, Asunafo South District in the Ahafo Region of Ghana.
According to the newly posted teachers, the coordinators have threatened not to handle the biometric documents of individuals who refuse to pay the amount demanded from them.
They are therefore calling on management of the Ghana Education Service and all other stakeholders to help them end this canker.
