Update on 2022 GES Promotions: Index Numbers and Centre set to be released, Exams Date Rescheduled



The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to release index numbers and exam centres to all qualified applicants who applied to write this year's (2022) promotions exam for the for various ranks.

Sources close to classicnewsgh reveals that the index numbers, exams centres and official date for writing the exams will be released to qualified applicants within the coming week via text messages.

Qualified persons will have their index numbers and exams centres generated will be sent to their mobile phone numbers that were used during the application process. There is a possibility that some qualified individuals will not be able to receive their SMS. This does not mean their names were not captured. But because their phones may not support receiving bulk text messages.

In view of this, all affected individual may contact Regional Human Resource (HR) office with a proof from the online printouts.

However, Management is yet to take final decision on the date for writing this year's exams. The exams was initially scheduled to be written in December 2022 but unconfirmed information gathered reveals that, it is likely the exams will be rescheduled to be written early next year due to a court injunction on the exams by some group of teachers who failed the exams last year.
